• Shidachi

  Wait in Tsune no kamae as Uchidachi advances.

  　

  As uchidachi strikes, take a slight step to the right to avoid the strike.

  Simultaneously, left hand grips end of jo, swing and strike Uchidachi`s temple.   (Sen no Sen)

  　

  As Uchidachi steps back, Kaeshi Tsuki (thrust to the solar plexus). Raise the Jo.

  Me Tsuki. Osame.

  From Chudan kamae, advance in Hasso kamae. From Jodan kamae strike.

  Shidachi strikes your temple, so step back.

  Jodan kamae. Shidachi thrusts.

  Lower the jo. Gedan kamae. Osame.
